Piano Bench Makeover

This colorful, boho bench was created by Robin from Redo It Yourself Inspirations with help from our limited edition color, Aurora and pearl wax!

I bought a piano bench at a yard sale. It was quite plain and boring. It was made with laminate wood and a vinyl covered seat.





After cleaning it up and removing the old upholstery, I painted it.





I used Country Chic Paint’s “All-in-One Decor Paint” in “Aurora” and Pearl Wax.





Then I reupholstered the bench seat in a colorful Boho style printed fabric with coordinating bright piping.
I made the piping from bias tape and PVC clothesline.





The storage area of the bench was painted as well.























It’s certainly a more colorful than it was before.
