1937 Bedroom Set Makeover

This set was my grandmother's wedding set in 1937. It had been through a lot over the years and had at one point been painted.

The drawers were veneer but still in nice condition. I carefully sanded away the paint and varnish. Used a stain that I thought matched the original and then poly on top.

I think it came out nicely.

The original hardware was sanded and got a coating of brushed nickel paint.

and the dresser with the mirror, which probably took the longest to do.
