Make a Pillow Out of a Dishtowel

There are so many cute dishtowels out during the holidays! And often times, they are inexpensive. Here is a quick DIY on how to make one into a pillow.

There have been so many "faux painted" pillows this fall. Ones that look like hand painted pumpkins, or leaves, I love them and was about to try painting a simple one myself, when I saw this dishtowel and decided I should just make it into a pillow.

Simple take a pillow to cover or recover and the dishtowel. I used some piping I made so it would match my fall couch pillows.

Fold the dishtowel over your pillow and cut it to fit the pillow. Remember to leave some room for seam allowance. Then sew up two and a half sides. Stick the pillow inside and sew the last half seam.

Pretty easy right?! And it cost me under $4!
