A Whimsical Bathroom Sign From "Junk"

What's better than a bathroom directional made of reclaimed and repurposed junk? Nothing, I tell ya. With a bit of whimsical typography, this sign will help point you in the right direction. After completing our bathroom remodel, I wanted to add a rustic touch with a fun twist to the doorway. Come on over and get the details on how it's done.

After we recently remodeled our bathroom, I wanted a touch of whimsy to the entry.





I dug around in my stash and came up with some sign candidates...an old single tree, a rusty hacksaw, a wood turning, and a piece of an antique treadles sewing machine (that funky board)





I choose the saw and sewing machine part and got to work using my transfer method and then hand painted. (The transfer method can be found on my blog)
