Hey there Hometalk Friends! Today I'm sharing the makeover of this little thrift store dressing table. It was pretty scratched up and the interior had seen better days, but a little shabby makeover gave it a lot of personality:After painting, I decided to use my silhouette to add a damask pattern to the top. (See my link at the bottom if you are interested in a similar stencil.)Then I taped off the sides and gave it a fun pop of contrast with stripes:Continuing with the black and white theme, I lined the drawers with black and white damask fabric...I replaced the hardware with these that I rescued from a curbside drawer, and the small glass ones I found at Hobby Lobby:How about the inside? That's probably my favorite! The mirror was missing so I decided to replace it with a chalkboard. I found this frame in my stash and it was just perfect for the job:I also lined the inside with fabric. This is really a unique piece now, and has already sold.See more details at the link to the original post on my blog below. :)Original article and pictures take http://www.hometalk.com/10965033/black-and-white-dressing-table site
