Green Apple Centerpiece

I love love love green apples... for decorating! Yes, these darling tart beauties are a very economical and an oh, so pretty way to fill our homes with color and texture! And I love love love decor that is easy to do and takes only a little time to create! So, today I'm combining my love for apples and easy to do decor and showing you how to make a green apple centerpiece that only takes 10 (okay... maybe 15) minutes to create!


Green apples make great candles! Grab a bag and some large leaves from the grocer's flower section and you are all ready to get started!






You can see how I cut the top of the apple here. Draw around a votive on top of an apple with a pen. Use a knife or mellon baller to make room for the votive.






Push the votive down into the apple. Line up several apples with votives and light.
Add a few lemon leaves and you have a beautiful centerpiece! See more at:
