This year I really want to add some color and a hint of glam to my Christmas tree and these ornaments are just the ticket. Plus they are easy and inexpensive to make - always a good thing!You can use any color paint and write any phrase on your ornaments. I think they would be pretty sweet with the names of your family members written on them as well.
I used some blank wood ornament shapes from a craft store. The first step is to roughly. paint them with craft paint or chalk paint. Then use a rag to wipe on a dark stain. Immediately follow with a clean rag dipped in mineral spirits to clean the stain off of the painted part.
Use a gold paint pen to write your Christmas words or names on the ornaments.
And that's it! So incredibly easy!
